Pat and Caroline both live in Fife and are practising artists.
They both graduated with Fine Art Degrees from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee and Pat also has a Masters in Fine Art from Dundee too.  They both take part in CFOS. www.centralfifeopenstudios.org
They have also exhibited and curated their work in group exhibitions and had a joint exhibition ‘Absorbing time’ in Art @47 Gallery in Pittenweem in 2022.

Pat worked for DC Thomson as an illustrator then went to DOJ College of Art. She went on to work part-time as an Art Tutor for Fife College and for various other organisations including SAMH

(Scottish association for mental health) and Scottish Women’s Institutes.

Patricia works instinctively making connections with what is happening in her life through the exploration of a diversity of materials and techniques while remaining open to possibilities.
Her family, living by the sea and former work as an illustrator continues to inform her work.

Previous residencies have included Skye, Norway, Florence and Sculpture Space in Utica in the USA.
She has exhibited extensively and been selected for RSA and RSW exhibitions and The Sunday Times Watercolour annual exhibition.

Caroline's work is inspired by nature and she paints both realistic and semi-abstract seascapes. She works in different mediums such as oils, acrylics and screenprinting and sometimes works with video and installation. She has recently exhibited in the 120 Years exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh and has previously had a solo show in Kyoto, Japan.

She has taught arts and crafts in schools, as well as evening ceramic painting whilst managing the Ceramic Cafe in Dunfermline.

Pat and Caroline look forward to welcoming you to their workshops which are held in Room 2, Kings Theatre building on the esplanade in Kirkcaldy.  It's a beautiful room with a view over the water. They are excited to share their creative talents in a lovely relaxed environment. All abilities are welcome and they will help you learn new skills, and create your own unique artwork to take home.
